Why do you need to clean the dust CLEAN when cleaning your PC?

I saw in some videos on YouTube that a person even disassembles the PSU and video card and cleans the dust from there.

Why do this? You can simply lean the vacuum cleaner against the fan of the PSU or video card. It is unlikely that he will tear something off, there is also a board, there are no connectors and contacts connected to them. Yes, and at the vacuum cleaner on the tube, you can open the groove to weaken the blowing force.

Yes, some dust inside the components will most likely remain. But if you remove it, then in a week or two it will reappear in the same quantities. The system unit tends to accumulate dust, because it has blowing fans. Do not clean it every week or two until it is in perfect condition (as if you bought a new one)?

It seems to me that there are more troubles from the analysis of components than from this dust. Because anything can happen during disassembly (you can scratch something, sweat or grease from your fingers or from your face can get on important parts, this is not good. The threads of the screws are twisted. The holes for the screws are also. And if the computer is several years old, then old dried plastic can even crack).

In general, it seems to me that it is enough to blow off the dust with something like a compressor / air cylinder / hair dryer with a cold air mode, or at least a rubber bulb (enema). Blow, in the sense, lift into the air. And suck it in with a vacuum cleaner from the air. And you don't even have to remove the accessories.

Am I wrong? That's why to make the computer PERFECTLY CLEAN? Like new. Why disassemble components?

The answer is here.
A YouTube video should impress.
If everything does not sparkle, then the impression is so-so.
If the impression is so-so, then there are few likes. :)
In real life, not like in YouTube.
Although sometimes they bring me a system manager to reinstall Windows. If I see that it has not been cleaned of dust for ten years, then I can open the PSU for cleaning, because. dust, packed in large lumps, is not absorbed through the ventilation grilles. But such neglected exhibits are rare.

eugene159 , you are absolutely right. The efforts and time spent on such a thorough cleaning do not justify, in the end and objectively, the end result. In my experience, cleaning the system unit 1-2 times every six months is the best solution - the unit inside constantly remains clean and, at the same time, a lot of time is not spent on subsequent cleanings.

Everything has already been said before me. The PSU is also disassembled to visually make sure that the components, such as capacitors, feel good and are not swollen.
And it is generally not recommended to disassemble video cards once again if there is no obvious overheating. According to tests, factory thermal pads work better than what you want to replace them (unless you are going to sculpt top-end expensive ones instead).
In the video about blowers, it is not recommended to blow with a compressor. This is not true. You need to select the required pressure. and if something fell off, then for the better. it means that this detail is either defective, or has already burned out and was on the verge. Such parts are usually the causes of breakage and death of other components. 0.6 points in the compressor and everything is ok. We have been practicing for a long time, the flight is normal.

in order to make sure that everything is clean
, dust attracts dust, respectively, the less dust, the less dust,
how many times the power glare has already changed for those who annually open the lid and vacuum the motherboard from above, and after 5 years, the power supply flies out due to the dust layer reaching the contacts of the board and breakdown of high voltage through it

I agree that excessive disassembly of the device is rather harmful.
A vacuum cleaner and a brush are enough. The presence of compressed air generally removes all issues.
I personally always blow my laptop in the garage with a compressor before the summer. No disassembly. Dust flies out cheerfully and vigorously. I don't have any problems during the summer. NEVER.
