Why do you need a sight (combination) in the samples? Adobe Illustrator CC 2015?
What is the scope for, what is its difference from just any color?

This is for color separation.
Have you seen, for example, such colored circles from below and above under the ears of juice boxes?
So, for example, in offset printing, in order to get a full-color (or two-color, three, etc.) picture, 4 different "matrices" are created for each color, for example, blue, yellow, red, black.
Then these matrices are inserted into the machine.
So, so that each color would lie exactly on the previous one (for mixing) and these marks serve.
According to these marks, the printer sets the required offset on the machine.
Surely you have seen pictures where one color comes out after another? so that's for it.
It differs from regular colors in that it can only be used for these labels!
when you apply this swatch to an object, that object will be printed on every separation color. those. you draw the label itself in a convenient place and apply this sample to it. About printing is a separate topic and quite extensive =)
