Why do some android apps open so fast?

The application that generates Android Stuido if you select the "Empty activity" template starts in 850-950 ms:

2021-07-20 21:28:17.750 1321-1344/? I/ActivityTaskManager: Displayed com.tutaf.emptyapp/.MainActivity: +956ms

For comparison:
  • Telegram X: 400-500ms
  • Firefox: 550-1100ms
  • VLC: 700-900ms
  • w3bsit3-dns.com: 400-600 ms
  • Total Commander: 600-800ms

If you clear the cache and stop the application before checking, then Firefox and VLC start slower than an empty application, but Telegram X, w3bsit3-dns.com and Total Commander start either in the same time or faster. Why do these applications launch faster and how can you get closer to their result?

Understood. If you build a release apk, then the application starts faster

2021-07-21 09:54:50.961 1321-1344/? I/ActivityTaskManager: Displayed com.tutaf.emptyapp/.MainActivity: +479ms
