Why do scanners not work with MFPs (Canon MF4410 and others)?

The essence of the problem:
On a computer with Windows 7x64, not a single scanner works. Tried to connect several MFPs. Printers are installed without problems, scanners seem to be installed as well, but when scanning there is no picture (and no errors either), just a black image. At the same time, a copy of the MFP page is made without problems.

And on the printer itself, do not you need to select the "scan from PC" mode? Some MFPs sin with this that the default settings can be set to scan to a USB flash drive

Check the image loading service (WIA) - maybe it is forcibly disabled for you? And look for errors from it in the event log.
