How to recover data from C drive - HDD with Windows and Ubuntu?
Good afternoon!
The problem is the following. The laptop had a 500 GB HGST HDD. On it Windows 10 and next to Ubuntu 16.04. And then the disc fell apart. Attempts to start Windows lead to a black screen hanging for a long time, after which the error 0xc000000f, which does not want to be corrected by any methods described on the Internet (bootrec). Ubuntu boots, mounts drive D, but drive C does not see and is terribly slow, any action leads to a freeze. If I connect the HDD to my computer and start Windows 10 (the one on the computer), after much thought it will turn on, but it’s impossible to enter my computer, everything immediately hangs tightly.
The question is how to get to the C drive at least once and pull out some data?
As for Victoria / MHDD - maybe I did something wrong, but apparently they still do not see the disk. Although it is visible in UEFI.

If the data is valuable, take the disk to a professional.
If not very valuable - you can try it yourself. After booting into an operating system that is convenient for you, connect the problem disk, mount it and try to read it.
