Why do most companies require Linux on the device?
I work in python development, mostly django and flask development.
I never liked Linux, Win is my everything in terms of convenience. What are the advantages of Linux in terms of web development (and just development) for a Python developer? As I understand it, a big plus is the increased speed of the data processing flow? Is it worth it right now to put the linkus on the VM or the second axis, so that later you can grow as a developer?

The vast majority of web servers in the world run on Linux. It is reasonable to expect a developer to understand the environment in which his programs will run. So it doesn't matter what you love, what matters is what you are hired to work with.
Well, the vast majority of web servers are now on line - respectively, optimization and debugging on the fly, + line is cheaper
It is worth putting the first and last axis if you want to grow as a developer.
