Why do interfaces fall off when you turn on Loop Protect on Mikrotik?

Mikrotik new CRS125-24G-1S-IN, firmware 6.43.8
Interfaces are all in the bridge.
As soon as I turn off the loop protection function on the ports, the main port from which the Internet comes falls off.
Tell me, what could be the reason?
And how to properly set up loop protection on micros?

The WAN port must not be in the bridge, loop-protect must not be enabled on it.
You should enable loop-protect on all ports in the bridge.

Well, because loop protection is on switches, this means that the ether1 interface must be in switch mode, or when you turn on loop protection, the interface itself goes into switch mode and the Internet falls off
