Why do bodyguards use pneumatic earmuffs with a helix?

I really doubt that there is such a class of pneumatic earphones, most likely there are ordinary earbuds with improved ergonomics, the spiral is needed for obvious reasons because of the convenience, to make it easier to move, and they are transparent so that they are as invisible as possible, inside they have a copper cable like everyone else , just not very noticeable. In general, the sound quality, I think they are not very good.
