Why could Wi-Fi fall off for good?
Installed on a laptop (Acer Aspire, I don’t remember the exact model, something for office and gaming) Windows 10 TP . Once I turned off Wi-Fi with a software switch in the system - and it disappeared from the laptop.
That is, it is impossible to enable Wi-Fi under any system (Win 10, Win 7, Win 7 and XP Portable, various Linux Portable). The module does not appear in the Wi-Fi device manager.
Tried resetting, flashing the BIOS - didn't help.
I tried several different Wi-Fi modules, only Intel WiMax / Wi-Fi was determined, but the drivers only get on WiMax. Wifi seems to be non-existent.
Do you think there is a chance for resuscitation?

There was the same garbage with HP ProBook different. They haven't found a cure either. It seems that sometimes the installation of the native ACPI utility with the native hardware button driver helped - try it.
