Why change the NS server for a domain?
There is a domain and it has already registered DNS servers of one hoster-A. I want to switch to another hosting-B. Why do you need to change the DNS server for the domain, if you can just change the A record. That is, tell the DNS server of hoster-A to change it from the old IP to the new IP (hoster B). All the same, then this record will be overwritten on other DNS servers. I can not understand what is the essence of changing the DNS server. After all, the site is already on the Internet and you just need to change the IP of the server on which it lies.

Hoster A, when refusing the service, can refuse DNS support for the domain and remove the corresponding records. As for the consequences, I think you can guess for yourself. In this regard, I prefer DNS separately, hosting separately.
For comfort.
We added a subdomain, the record was automatically created. The site's IP address can be changed by the host.
Hoster A is a domain registrar? If so, then at your request, he should make any changes you want. If domain support is part of the hosting service, then what's the problem - go to an adequate registrar
