Why can't SMART be read from HDD?

I bought a second HDD, cloned the system from the old one to it. Everything starts, but SMART does not read from a new disk (I boot from it). Disk model wd10ezex. Works in IDE mode (not AHCI), connected via SATA. What could be the problem?

Problem solved. Translated disks in AHCI mode - SMART earned.
