How to initialize an SSD drive connected to a RAID controller?

There is a server with a mirrored RAID array RAID 1. Physical RAID.
I connected an SSD disk to this RAID controller in port 0.
At startup, the SSD disk is visible at the initial stage.
It is not visible in the operating system. Only the Intel MegaSR controller is visible.

@opium

You need to go into the settings of the raid controller and either add it to the raid or throw it as a jbod, that is, a separate disk, for some you need to create a zero raid on one disk

Well, of course he is not visible.
Disks connected to the controller cannot be seen from the OS.
