Contact the professionals before they ruin it.
If the data is not as important as the desire to sort it out, start by disassembling the disk. Most likely inside a standard SATA disk. Take it out and plug it in directly. If you are lucky and it works, then the box itself or its power is mowed. If you're unlucky, think again about how important the data inside is.
