Why buy template packs from Themeforest?

Hello gentlemen.
Themeforest now sells packs of eight hundred templates in one.
Can someone tell me why I need so many templates.
If I can use one such set (item - in the terminology of themforest) for only one client?
Or am I misunderstanding something? Thank you.
