Why aren't Microsoft accounts centralized?
I have a DreamSpark subscription from my university. Why can't I apply it to already installed products? For example Visio. When I sign in, it says there are no active subscriptions for Visio. It is necessary to download the package for this subscription in order for it to work. Although it would be logical if everything was stored in one place.
What is the problem? Blame the curvature of the architects of their application (Web) or is there some kind of mystery here?

I didn’t think about global accounts before, and the databases were different for different resources. But now, the small ones have realized that this is necessary, and, as far as I know, they have slowly begun to integrate various services. After a while, everything will be available from under one account. But there is an aspect, we are in a rush, and it will reach us a little more slowly =)
