Why are trueconf/bluebutton/discord popular in mass audio conferences?

For audio conferences for 50-200 people, which is easier to practice? (clients with android and Windows will be)
I practice the blue button - but the server does not need to be weak?
Is the Real Conference better in terms of traffic load? Do you need a server too?
But how about your own discord server in terms of traffic and CPU load?
Which of them is better?
In Skype, and then a conference for 50 people is possible, right?
Mass audio conferences for 50-200 people for free only on your own server?

@Arsick

I didn't use the blue button.
The real conference is Truconf? :)))
In Truconf, in such an audio conference (without video), 1 person will give a load of 25-30 kbps. In Skype, 1 person will require 30-100 kbps ( technical requirements ). And in Skype, yes, since March it is possible to invite up to 50 users. I don’t know about discord, I didn’t manage to google it, but according to the experience of using it, the situation is worse than that of Skype. Discord also does not have an incoming call for group voice chats, which is why you constantly miss connections to the conference ...
By the way, you don’t have to use the TruConf server, there is also the Truconf Online cloud for your purposes. In addition to everything, there is Tim Speke - but it is quite primitive in its functionality ..
