Why are hosts not added to vCenter (Insufficient license on host)?

There is a vcenter licensed with VMware vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus (CPUs). The number of CPUs is not limited.

vCenter itself is licensed by VMware vCenter Server 6 Essentials (Instances)

VMware vCenter Server 6 Essentials
is the minimum realm build. Three hosts and that's it. Read about licenses for the sphere carefully

Good afternoon!
I had such an error if the trial license was not removed on the host. Check that ONLY the necessary licenses are present on the host.

White English - Host license type does not match realm license type. It is not enough to buy a license for a sphere - you also need to buy licenses for all hosts. Trial hosts (on a free license) are not added to the realm.

$(document).click(function(e) {
  const $target = $(e.target);

  let $itemsToClose = null;

  if ($target.hasClass('top-menu__link')) {
    const $item = $target.closest('li');
    $item.toggleClass('top-menu__item_open').children('ul').slideToggle();
    $itemsToClose = $('.top-menu__item').not($item);
  } else {
    $itemsToClose = $('.top-menu__item');
  }

  $itemsToClose
    .removeClass('top-menu__item_open')
    .children('ul')
    .slideUp();
});
