Why are fans noisy when Macbook Pro is in sleep mode?
Hello.
Such a moment - we have Macbook Pro '13 Retina Early 2015 . Launched 2 applications - Sublime Text + Firefox (about 10 tabs).
Dropbox is in the background.
I put my Mac to sleep, everything is ok. After some time (each time in a different way), the fans begin to suffer agony and, according to the noise level, the Mac works like a vacuum cleaner at the lowest power :) After a couple of minutes, silence again.
Even when you work on a poppy with the same conditions (FF + Sublime Text), it sometimes makes noise like crazy. There is no mention of any video processing. Maximum - 2 browser windows with 10 tabs + Sublime Text.
Is this a reason to reset the parameters of the system management controller (SMC) or should you first drive it to the service to take it apart and look for dust / thermal paste?
