Why is the macos catalina SSD defined as 2.0 via the SATA3 -> USB3.0 adapter?

On macbook pro 2018 macos catalina (not the fact that this is important), the SSD is connected via the SATA3 -> USB3.0 adapter as 2.0. At the same time, on windows it immediately gives out its 500mb / sec? And on macos 45mb / sec (linear reading)

The same problem on the old macbook before 2016. (there is a regular USB3.0)

Tested on adapters with VLI VL711-04 chips, and JMS567
