Whois check script from the registrar REG.RU does not allow users to occupy "beautiful" domains?

Is it possible that the service for checking domain names from reg.ru ( https://www.reg.ru/whois ) has some script installed that automatically blocks / takes "beautiful" domain names for purchase?

Yesterday I checked the availability of a rare domain through another service from a St. Petersburg host - it was available for purchase. Today I checked again, it was available for registration, then checked through the service from reg.ru (compare prices), the domain immediately changed the status to "busy", both in their service and in https://beget.com/ru/ domains/whois . And whois showed me the following:

I am sure that it is not only possible, but actually exists :) Near any more or less thick registrar, there is always a “manual”, but supposedly third-party desk that “buys out” beautiful names for dishman, participates in auctions, accelerating the price (but never without buying if he suddenly wins) and other near-legal things related to the domain business.

And whois showed me the following:

The registrar can easily send a domain registration request to the real zone operator making changes in the expectation that you need it so much that you are ready to buy it at the auction price - after all, no one knows about the terms of the agreement between the registrar and the zone operator. It will keep busy for a while, and then if you haven’t bought it, it will release it.
Moreover, all this is most likely a long time ago automated.

reg.ru is quite a reliable office. Expired domains do not redeem, a couple of times so redeemed their own. Another thing is that the process of buying a domain is an application, not a purchase. At the same time, there may be several applications for the purchase of a domain from different registrars. Who earlier, that and slippers.
I had one moment like this, I checked it on different registrars, 2 out of three including reg.ru showed that it was not busy, but like nic.ru showed that it was busy. As a result, I successfully registered the domain on reg.ru.

There are two registrars in Runet, about which it has long been known that they behave like bugs - these are reg.ru and nick.ru (ru-center). Contacting them is very unlikely.
I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow keep track of what's being entered into their whois verification form, because their desire to squeeze absolutely everything to the last penny out of their business has been known for at least a long time.
By the way, questions to nic.ru similar to yours arose on thematic forums far from a year ago.
Previously, the "official" WHOIS of the .RU zone was on ripn.net , but not so long ago some altercations happened there and RIPN moved to https://ripn.su/ , and WHOIS - to https://tcinet.ru/whois /
Here is him and only himand should be used.
There is still the option whois.ripn.net , for some reason it does not support https, but otherwise I think it is completely legitimate.

I also once had a story when I came up with a neologism name and checked the domain. Neologism - that is, a word that does not exist in the Russian language, but is very understandable and harmonious for the Russian ear. And I checked for uniqueness, because that was my standard))
Also, someone registered this domain within a day. Coincidence? I don't think.
