How to benefit from a branded domain?
Recently bought a domain like [brand].shop
1. Interested in how and where to sell it?
2. If I myself use this domain and open, for example, an online store where I will sell products of this brand, will it be legal? And what can copyright holders do if they want to?
3. Should I write to brand owners with a direct offer to sell the domain to them? Or nobody needs this domain zone?
Thank you in advance.

It is illegal. A domain name is actually equivalent to a trademark in terms of protection. In fact, you intend to trade under someone else's trademark. The fact that you sell someone else's products, in itself, is not fraught with anything illegal. However, if you are trading someone else's product under someone else's trademark, not being an official reseller / dealer, you are at least misleading your customers + actually acting on behalf of the copyright holder without his permission. The legal consequences for you can be even catastrophic.
Cybersquatting has long gone out of fashion, now only big players who can afford to buy tens of thousands of domains, or those who managed to buy up interesting domains 20 years ago, make money on it.
In any case, the laws are now on the side of trademark owners, so if your domain is the same as someone else's brand, then either you will just be sued and taken away, or you will also be sued for doing business under someone else's brand .
Should I write to brand owners with a direct offer to sell the domain to them?
