Who uses/interests in Force.com and/or Salesforce.com?

Hello habravchan!

I currently work on the force.com platform, as well as the Salesforce and FinancialForce applications. I work in a foreign business, but I'm interested in what position these systems and platforms occupy in the domestic market, as well as in the minds of compatriots. I am aware that these positions are very weak, nevertheless I would like to know if there is anyone to share my thoughts, questions and experiences with.

I have been wanting to cover this topic on Habré for a long time, but, unfortunately, there is not enough time, and there is not enough confidence in what and in what quantity it is worth covering. Therefore it is interesting: Someone implemented? What did you implement? What did you want? What have you achieved? Interested? Faced? Want to face?

Perhaps you have some questions. I will be glad if I can answer at least partially.

Salesforce is used in boutique.ru, for example. A good thing, modern, their support is polite and smart.

My position is this. they are too complex for the average Russian user.
A product made for the New World will not work in the CIS. The opposite is also true.
In general, the CIS needs products that are so simple that the implementation period is reduced to 0.
Even such simple systems will greatly help small businesses not only earn more, but simply not lose customers out of the blue.

Our European offices use Salesforce, they seem to be satisfied. We also looked and decided that for now we are fine without it, since no one will customize it to our needs, at least for a reasonable price.

How many times have I encountered people who come to Salesforce with mega plans and leave when they find out how much it will cost them. Correctly said la0 is a system not for the CIS (the main advantage of Salesforce is easy integration with bourgeois services, domestic services are not supported yet), there is also no "available" Russian support. And creating your own solution based on Salesforce is very expensive - it's easier to do without Salesforce.
