Who has information about the layer for running non-hardware operating systems?

Hello, the problem with iron is very common. Is there a way to run an OS in a layer that "emulates" other hardware. This provides not only support for "Unstartable" operating systems, but also a certain amount of security and anonymity. Do not criticize the question, I need a detailed answer from you, and not a bunch of criticism and garbage. If you do not have knowledge, or do not understand the question - Ignore and do not spam!

QEMU - he can emulate almost anything.
But it will not be virtualization, but emulation, with the corresponding brakes

dosbox
qemu
dosbox is designed to run dos games, mostly timed games (like Monti, aka Monezuma's Revenge). This is exactly emulation , when the "hardware" is provided by purely software methods, which naturally leads to brakes (however, this is not essential for dosovye games, on the contrary, they are deliberately slowed down).
Security - well, yes, perhaps, if you find arachne for dos (this is such a dos browser) - you can even get somewhere in text mode without fear of catching something
Anonymity - perhaps exactly the opposite :)

There is of course, probably the most famous is Bosch. But you wrote there in another question that you have an i3 laptop - so forget it. Let me explain it this way: you are asking a question of the level "can a Japanese who does not know other languages, who does not know how to use the Internet, speak with Russian?" and the answer to it will be "yes, he needs a person who knows Russian and Japanese at the same time, and that this person has the Internet. And the Russian person still needs the Internet. And so, through a third person and technologies, they are somehow, slowly, with errors will talk." Here is the answer to your question - yes, bosch will launch something for you under a completely different architecture, but to launch something full-fledged you need either a hyper-powerful computer, or you will never wait for the result of launching, for example, a full-fledged OS.
