Which WinServera roles can be "snapshot"?

Hello! Actually the question is:
what roles can be snapshotted, for a further return to the previous state "like" as a backup.
Available roles:
1) ad, dns, dhcp
2) file-server, print-server
3) wsus, proxy-squid
For example, before updating, or when at some point the virtual machine does not start, then return to its stable state.

Turn off the VM, take a snapshot, turn on the VM ..

Snapshots are not recommended for use in production.
Snapshot is not a backup. In addition, snapshot cascading and/or long-lived snapshots drastically reduce the performance of the hyper-v disk subsystem.
