Which windows is better to install today? 32 or 64 bit?

I decided to update the family park of all sorts of pieces of iron, all with no more than 4GB of RAM.
Before that, I installed systems with the condition that if there is no or no plans to install more than 4 GB of RAM, then install a 32-bit system, otherwise I would install a 64-bit one.
Question: how is this for windows 10 today? Can "score" already and always install only 64-bit systems?
In general, is there a significant difference today?
Thank you

The addressing scheme has not changed x32 will work up to 4 gigs, x64 4+. By itself, 10 and 8.1 works somehow faster than 7, although it may be self-hypnosis.

Software is gradually moving away from 32 bits.
