Which university teaches web development?
Hello, dear forum users!
This year I am moving to the 11th grade, choosing a university for further education. I myself am interested in the IT field, so far, web development is most interesting: both front-end and back-end.
As far as I know, one of the top universities in IT is ITMO. However, do they teach web development there? And in general, is it taught precisely at a professional level, at least in some university in the country?
I understand that the word "teach" is not quite correct here. Yes, this is the area in which 90% everything depends on your own efforts, and you need to constantly learn yourself and gain experience and practice.
Nevertheless, you will agree that there is nowhere without a fundamental theoretical base, which means that the question arises - where to get it, this base, in fact? The Internet is teeming with all sorts of paid courses, but are they worth the required fee? As for free resources, so far, I have not found anything really worthwhile (if you know, please recommend).
I would like to enter the university in my specialty and so that 4 years are not in vain, but really come in handy in the future in the profession. I tried to look through the lecture halls of the country's top universities, but I did not find almost anything on web development (as well as in the programs of courses and faculties). Maybe I didn't search well?
In short, which university has the most useful and close to web development areas of study (bachelor's / specialist's / master's / additional courses)?
PS If you recommend really powerful online resources on the front and back end (both paid and free) will also be very grateful. I hope the question turned out to be clear and comprehensive. Many thanks in advance to all who read and respond!
