Why can't I log into the admin panel from one computer?

Good afternoon. Faced the following.
I was given a username/password from the site admin panel.
Entered /administrator after the domain - nothing.
The person from whose computer they came in asked for a link, he went there like administrator/index.php?blablabla - he went. After a while, the same link does not go. Cleaned everything in the browser - does not enter.
I tried other browsers, same result. The site page is simply updated, the cms login window does not appear.
Now I tried it at work. Comes in. And even from the phone everything opens.
Question.
What is wrong with my computer, why does it just refresh the page?
Could it be because of the text that is entered after the word administrator? If yes, how to fix it?

Educational institutions produce popular destinations for the sake of money without any restrictions. Therefore, the most correct way for you is to contact the educational institution where you intend to enter and get a list of subjects that are included in the program of each specialty. And on the basis of this - to decide.

The name of the faculty does not mean anything at all. In addition, in different institutions with the same name, the faculty can give very different things.
Go directly to the chosen institution, chat with the students, read the curriculum of the faculties.
And finally - in any case, programming will need to be taught independently and separately. Everything that is given at the faculties directly on programming is such a base that you can master it yourself in a couple of weeks, with a little googling. Therefore, the tower needs to learn applied things - mathematics, physics, chemistry, electronics, etc.

99.9% that some admin protection module is installed. Does the person from whose computer they came in still work and enter? If yes, then check the installed modules from his computer and most likely you will find the right one. And then smoke the settings.
Or, as an option, find the module through the database and disable it (put 0)

Perhaps the site has an extension - jSecure Authentication or something similar that protects the entrance to the Administration panel of the site. Let the site owner remember what he installed and correct the settings if necessary.
If you still need jSecure Authentication, then the entrance to the Panel should look exactly like administrator/index.php ?secret word . In this case, if an error was made in entering a login or password, then the page is updated to the form - administrator/index.php and you must again add ?secret word .
