Go for an internship for free or study at home?

So. There was a possible option for learning frontend development in the form of an internship.
My knowledge is: not bad in html, css (about 20 one-page PSD layouts), SCSS, Bootstrap, now I'm learning the basics of JS (there are a couple of works: todo, calculator, a mathematical game with the generation of random examples), git.
I will also say that I am a student, so I will be able to walk only after my studies. What would you do in my place?

Go for an internship for free

This. You will have real experience and a real piece of paper that you have been tolerated somewhere.
Bullshit.
Nothing.
I would run for an internship.
PS And I also forgot the point "kiss the feet of the one who called for an internship."

Internship, definitely. If you don’t have experience and experience yet, you don’t have a clear idea about working in a team and how the whole cycle of your work looks like ideally, it’s better to start with an internship. Even if it is free, experience is your future trump card. You can always record it in your asset in the future job search. The more valuable this internship is, the more serious the company in which you are going to take it. It is also possible to get a full-time job in the company after the internship. As long as you like each other. :)

If you are not 50 years old and 40 years of work experience, then even a free internship in a good team on real projects is a very good opportunity for a young student.
