Which router to choose for your home?

Advise an inexpensive router up to 2 thousand rubles.
Additional functionality is not needed, the main thing is speed and stability. ISP speed 70mb/s.
The apartment is small.
2 devices will connect to it: a macbook and a smartphone.
You also need the ability to configure via wi-fi, because. The laptop does not have an ethernet port.

tp-link rule! there were both zuxels and netgirs, everything is stupid in my favorite beeline (there are a lot of viruses in the local area), and the tp-link TL-WR841N plows like a tractor for months)

As for me, I settled on the Zyxel line (it costs Zyxel Keenetic GIGA II)
Stability, updates, intelligible manuals on the site.

From experience in it:
Asus -n10 - a weak signal, sometimes the connection with the provider is lost.
Asus n12 - the same trouble with the connection to the provider, the signal is lower than that of Tp-link 841 nd.
Tp-link 841 nd - buggy with a load of 2 PCs over the network + IP-TV, one laptop over Wifi. Not reliable, they often burn.
tp-link 1043 - already in the store you can buy a sample that does not connect to any network with authorization (a lot was purchased and often came across with such a marriage). The firmware does not help.
Zyxel - the signal is not very good, like that of Asus. Large loss of speed can be expected. tenacious.
The most high-quality models (I put them in small companies, so far without glitches for more than a year), but the price is more expensive than you need - these are asus n16 and asus n18. In a bundle of 7-10 PCs, printer, server. Everything works with a bang.

If you don’t want to fuck with firmware and settings, but you need to install it and make it work, definitely take Zyxel keenetic

The laptop does not have an ethernet port.

If there is no Ethernet port, then you can use a USB-Ethernet adapter. But rather than buying for 1 time, it's easier to ask someone for a laptop thread with Ethernet for initial setup. Or at least invite the same representative of the provider.
Here it would be necessary to indicate by what protocol the connection with the provider is going on. Some still use PPTP, and at the same time, cheap routers start to choke at 20-30 Mbps, because they simply do not have enough performance.
If everything is in order with this, then you can take the same TP-Link - they are quite oaky for their price. If not, then you will have to fork out for some kind of Keenetic Giga thread.
