RAID

Which RAID (and should I choose at all) for NVMe SSD?

Let's say I want a VERY FAST STORAGE.
There is a new model of supermicro, 10 nvme ports. It is theoretically possible to cram 10 1.6Tb NVME SSDs in there (let's leave the cost aside)
I think that uh ... a mirror raid is needed here 1 .
However - this is what kind of consumption of disks, it's a pity somehow.
Raid5 - I'm not sure that the performance will be in order, something like that, well, I'm not sure.
What to do? advise.
A software raid is also being considered.

IMHO complex raids do not justify themselves, they have a very long rebuild time, which with a high probability can lead to the loss of all data.

The traditional option for NVMe SSDs is RAID 5 or 6 or a hybrid based on parity codes.
Due to the speed of the disks themselves, a rebuild in the event of a failure takes quite an acceptable time and does not lead to a significant drop in performance.
