Good afternoon :)
In connection with the problems with the VMware vSphere cluster, the management asks a reasonable question - why weren't backups made?
I had to answer that there is simply nothing to backup. There is a backup server with Symantec Backup Exec 2010 r3, but we do not have agents for hyper-v and vmware (you need to purchase licenses).
Of course, I think that this state of affairs is fundamentally wrong and I asked myself: what is better for backup virtual machines?
I heard about Veeam in passing, but is there anything else?
We use VMware vSphere and Hyper-V in our environment.
