Shared disk for virtual machines on storage, how to do it right?

Hello. I want to make a mini cluster out of two hosts, on the servers there is 1 disk for the system, and on the storage I plan to keep a volume for virtual machines so that each of the hosts can use them. There are 2 Hosts connected to netapp storage via sas interfaces. I installed proxmox on the hosts, made a disk pool and 1 large volume on the storage. Tom made ext4 and mounted it on both machines, the problem is that if any of the hosts, for example, creates a file on a shared partition, then the other host sees the changes only after remounting, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Give the bare storage LUN to proxmox, then screw LVM over it in the settings. Don't forget to check the "shared" box.
