Which Mac Mini to Choose in 2015?

I decided to switch to Objective-C and develop mobile applications, based on this, I need a Mac Mini, but now it's hard to decide on the choice.
I analyzed many topics on the Toaster, but all of them are no longer so relevant. Most people advise to take a 2012 Mac Mini, because. 2014 models have a number of shortcomings.
So, tell me, please, is it worth taking the 2012 model now (upgrade the RAM, change the HDD to an SSD) or is it likely that this model will stop receiving OS updates next year? There are no new ones for sale, so you have to take a used one.
Or take the 2014 model?
Please provide constructive advice. Thanks in advance!

No one will stop getting updates next year. Everything is as always - if the hardware allows, updates will come. Model 2012 already used. it will be 2 years. And this is the term. It is better to take the year 2014 2.6 GHz.

If you decide to develop in Objective-C, it doesn't matter.
If you are going to run synthetic tests - take 2012.
