Which laptop to choose for work and play?

I suffered with AMD overheating and eventually decided to switch to Intel.
Interested in a workhorse with i5-7 with a good video card for games after work (programming, virtual machines, ubuntu, windows) and a screen of 17 ".

• Preferably without cd/dvd-rom

• Matte/glossy - doesn't matter
