Dice 2400Mhz instead of 2666Mhz what will happen?

Good day.
I need advice, I have a lenovo 530s-14IKB laptop, I decided to add RAM from stock 8 to 16gb. I read on the Internet that the memory runs at 2400Mhz. I bought a 2400Mhz die when I opened it, I realized that the laptop costs 2666Mhz. The question is what will happen if I put a die at a lower frequency, the computer is not a gaming one, and some kind of super speed is not particularly required for operation.

The memory will work at its maximum speed - 2400Mhz
*will not burn out
*will not overclock to 2666Mhz

Both sticks (both old and new) will run at 2400.
But you won't notice the difference.
