Which is better, MacBook Pro 2016-2017-2018 13' 8GB, 128 SSD, i5 or MacBook Pro 2015 17' 16GB, 256GB, i7?

Are there any real benefits to taking a 2017-2018 Mac, or is it better to take a 2015?

Alexander, today the 16-17th year, in principle, should not be considered. The reality is that the year 16-17 will not be much more powerful than the 15th year, but with a bunch of possible problems.
In 2k18, if you take a new device, you need to look to the future, today 16gb RAM is a necessary minimum and it’s not worth looking at 13k with 8Gb at all.
The best (budget) option for you is to order 13ku 2018 with a touchbar and increased RAM up to 16gb (in the USA it costs $1999). It is worth noting that it was the models with a touchbar that were updated this year, those that cost $ 1299 - they have no changes. Moreover, Apple sort of fixed the keyboard in 2018 models, so they started installing 4-core i5 in 13s, this MacBook is more powerful than any top 15s until 2017 (inclusive) in tests.
I personally use a 2016 Macbook Pro 15, I am bypassed by problems with the keyboard (I am very neat), but with 16-17 years there are a lot of jambs (thers inside, the keyboard is problematic, video cards, speakers, cooling coolers).
