Good afternoon, please help me choose an ip-camera.
The camera itself will be installed in the lecotheque for children with disabilities in the children's center. It is needed in order to observe and analyze the behavior of children by the specialists of the center, for further assistance in their development. The area of the lecotheque room is approximately 40 sq.m.
The choice is further complicated by the fact that a good sensitive microphone is needed in this chamber - at the same time, specialists work with 7-10 children, as I understand it, and it is important for them to hear as much as possible later.
I myself am simply lost in the choice of cameras, I ask for advice from video surveillance specialists.

Which of them - you need to determine the following key parameters:
1. Type of lens (focal length, roughly speaking, angle, depends on the parameters of the room and where you hang it)
2. Sensor type (color, resolution - at least SVGA. If you want to distinguish facial expressions - then this is from 3MP at such a distance)
3. Type of case (regular, not outdoor, or dome, or fixed)
4. Type of power supply (power supply, or PoE)
5. Microphones from mobotix are better, but they are also more expensive

In my opinion, it’s better not to skimp on quality and take such a camera so that it doesn’t fail at the right time, I put Zenith E3 in the yard, bought it on the Zenith CCTV website on this page yourcamera.ru/ip-kamery/zenith-e3- detail and did not regret it, by the way the price is normal for such a camera. I can view it from my smartphone at any time, so my house is my castle as they say. And it's also very easy to install.
