Which HDD to choose in a laptop?
In my laptop, the Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB, bought in May of this year, is dying (covered with bads). In this regard, I want to change it to something similar, but reliable.
Basically, now I choose between Hitachi Travelstar 7K500 (HTE725050A9A364) and Western Digital Scorpio Black (WD5000BEKT).
What screw would you recommend? (I remind you that the most important criterion is reliability.)

Somewhere on Habré there is an article about hard drives and in this article in the Hitachi breakdown diagram - it distinguished itself by its high reliability.
I also have a Hitachi Travelstar 4800 rpm in my laptop - the speed is excellent! And the disk is already more than 4 years old, there has not been a single failure and there are practically no bad sectors.
I also want to note that double-disk screws get hotter than single-disk ones. I recently bought a WD 640GB. It heats up like an iron (almost always around 50 degrees).
I'm watching SMART program "SMART Utility" under MacOS.
Noticeable intermittent freezes when accessing the hard drive. Sometimes you even have to reboot.
