I have been using tablets for about 10 years. Based on experience - only Wacom, only from the series that is now called Intuos Pro.
An important note about size. If you have only one monitor, then in no case take a tablet with a working area larger than A5. If the tablet is too large, then the hand will be very tired swinging over its entire area. If I came across a large tablet at work, I always limited the area of work through the driver settings. Now I have 14 * 23 cm at work, and only because two monitors are connected, the main NEC 31 "and the secondary NEC 27", it is very comfortable with such dimensions. When the main one was 27, and the second one was 24, then I reduced the work area on this tablet
After. Vakoms are practically indestructible and in the secondary market you can find intuos of previous generations at a good discount, which will serve for years without problems, and the degree of deterioration of the working surface does not matter much. Once in my life I managed to kill with a vacom, I made it static. The conditions in the room were such that everyone was very strongly electrified and strongly shocked, and sitting at the table I discharged with a pen through a tablet - the whole center was knocked out. Now I always discharge myself on the keyboard, but this is the only case of vacom death that I know, and I have a lot of colleagues who use vacoms. Their interface is more outdated than the tablet itself

Hello)
Here I already left a link to a normal tablet to start. Which tablet of these to buy for drawing logos, budget $250?
The leader is wacom Intuos Pro. There is a very fine tuning of the pen and other chips.
Still, the options before him do not differ exactly in anything. Every year they change design or name, but the characteristics of tablets differ only in 2 parameters - size and touch-pad. Still, of course, the presence of buttons, light bulbs, wires, but it all does not matter.
Size is important, use the same tablet as a touch .. um .. well, you understand.
The main idea is that any old Wacom Bamboo will be as good as the newest one. I guarantee you, there is experience.
The downside is that they are usually no larger than size M (about A5 sheet), but enough for a start.
Conclusion: Be sure to take a wacom, the largest size you can afford.
Ps: the devices are very tenacious, so it can be found in good condition from hand.
