Which graphics card do you prefer GTX960 or R9 380?

AMD Radeon R9 380 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 in terms of performance?
At first I thought that they were about the same, but then I found out that the 960th merges the 380th into DX12. In addition to this, some games implement api mantle support, which in turn tip the scales towards the 380th.
They cost roughly the same.

DirectX 12 is not yet supported by any released game. AMD curtailed the development of Mantle. Also, do not forget about the AMD driver curves.
