Which faculty (university) should a game developer enter?

What specialty should a future game developer enter (game design, programming.
I looked at various forums about this, but I also want to hear advice from users who live on the toaster.
I heard that it doesn’t matter where to go, the main thing is to be related to programming (mainly
One of the options: "Software Engineering"
A little information about me:
Now I'm finishing the 11th grade, I'm making games in Unity in C #, there are a couple of projects (one has already been published in the play market) .

In the gaming industry, as in the cinema, there are:
- techies (pogroms)
- directors (game designers, come up with the main "design" concept, such as Kojima, Gabe Newell and others)
- artists (concepts, sketches, 3D, etc.)
- sound engineers (did you think how are the sounds recorded in the tanks?Yes, yes, people stood with a microphone at the tank)
So, each profession is prepared in DIFFERENT universities, which one to choose is up to you.

I see two main paths for you:
1) Go deep into programming and mathematics. For this, a technical university is better. You can even unlearn the first two courses and leave to move on to the second option. But you can also defend yourself, for example, in the field of machine learning, it would be useful (for games as well).
2) Choose the direction in which you do not understand at all. For example, economics, psychology, jurisprudence. For admission, as a rule, you need to know school subjects such as mathematics and biology, with which, in theory (if you study well), everything should be fine. Then you will immediately become a multidisciplinary specialist, this is appreciated in game development, you can be a great game designer or producer. If you make games alone, then it is all the more important to cover all areas.
In parallel with this, you can independently be interested in game development in general. This is a specific area, and we do not have specialized education in the Russian Federation. In addition, everything is changing so quickly in this area that it is difficult to make a training program that will not become outdated by the time you graduate from a university, with our education system. There are various short courses, usually paid, though narrow specialists are trained there. You can study abroad, there is a higher education in the field of game development. Well, in Moscow there is a specialized education at the tower, but it goes like a second higher education, that is, first you need to unlearn at a regular university, and in general to accumulate a background in the gaming field.

The question is put extremely naively. It is necessary to choose not a specialty, but a university.
If you enter some provincial university without a name, then no matter what specialty you choose, the education will still be bad and most likely will turn into just wasted time.

MIT
Seriously, it's too early for you to apply until you know why you are going to apply, what knowledge you need, who exactly will guide you as your teacher in each particular discipline.
You are going to spend 4-6 of your most productive years going nowhere
. knowledge, in that place near zero
