How to promote your free programming courses?
I teach teenagers (11+) and adults the basics (and not only the basics) of programming for free (mostly or completely), but I don’t know how to make people start contacting me. How to promote your services for free?
Someone once advised me to place an ad on some site, but I don’t remember which one. Does anyone have experience in this matter?
Classes are held online (individually, but at best - in groups)

If you have knowledge, write articles on Habré, useful articles are read very well. As a bonus, you will receive good feedback from the profile community.
And so the classic is contextual advertising, nothing more effective has yet been invented.
You can create your own website to provide services there, even for free. For example, hosting (000webhost, they also give a domain there). Then you can use the site designers to create your own, beautifully and conveniently. To recruit people, for example, you can create a discord server, to which you can leave a link on the site, you can already conduct lessons in the discord server. And you can promote your site, for example, by advertising on YouTube, leaving information about you and a link to the site on various forums, you can go to Avito and similar sales services, and then set the price to 0 and a link to your site with courses.
There are many ways that you can promote like you can share your knowledge by writing a blog or making video and share on relevant free platforms.
You can publish it on Stepik, there are many free lessons, people love it.
