Which Drupal to choose?

Good afternoon Toaster!
I faced the issue of switching to Drupal to develop websites for clients (freelance). This raises the question, which version to choose? 7 or 8? There are a lot of sites on the 7th, they will always need support, on the other hand, I don’t want to deal with an outdated version.
What are your thoughts on this?

Outdated? 8 just came out yesterday, and they will even blow it until 2018. Take 7. My advice to you.

Look at the project, for 8 many modules are not yet available and not all of them are stable. If you are sure that you can do everything on Drupal 8 without prejudice to the client, then of course use it, if not, then you can still use the seven.

Of course, take the seven, the eight was released so that no one would do anything on it (sarcasm). Believe me, they will be able to help you even on the eight and you will also normally find information on it. (I don't use Drupal myself, just thinking out loud)
