Which compact access point to choose?
Wifi sags heavily in the far room and the idea arose to cover it separately. I am looking for something compact so that, if necessary, I can use it on trips (hotels only with Ethernet, etc.).
Candidates:
1) Mikrotik mAP: https://routerboard.com/RBmAP2nD
Do I understand correctly that this is a new revision of the old model (RBmAP2n) and now it is Dual-Chain? Those. 300Mbps?
Good: RouterOS, 2xEthernet, 300Mbps, you can connect a 3G/4G modem via OTG, PoE in
2) Mikrotik mAP lite: https://routerboard.com/RBmAPL-2nD
Good: compact, RouterOS, 300Mbps, PoE
in noise and magnets. Share who checked.
3) TP-Link TL-WR810N (or 710):www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-9_TL-WR810...
Good: Range Extender, 2xEthernet, 300Mbps, OpenWrt for 710 model.
710 supports WISP, do I need it?
4) Another Netgear PR2000 flashed: www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-rout...
Good: Range Extender, 2xEthernet, 300Mbps, can be powered via microUSB
supporting OpenWrt?
Open to alternatives and feedback from those who have already used these devices.
Thank you.
