Which cms is best for a very multi-page site?

There is a site on Wordpress, there are 18 thousand posts in total. The size of the database is already 350 mb. and everything starts to slow down. Advise on which cms to go. It is planned to increase the site at times.

WP certainly has performance issues, but they are easily solved with Nginx + fastcgi_cache. All dynamics is taken out on JS.
The higher the traffic, the more specialized the tool is needed, I would transfer everything to the microframework if I really want to go somewhere.
PS 18 thousand posts and 350 MB base, it's not much. Maybe you should try to take a productive VPS?
