Which channels to choose for several WiFi points in a very busy air?

There is a small office network consisting of 3 access points interconnected with one SSID and a DHCP server on the main point. There are very big problems in the work of these points. Some simply cannot connect, some simply have a weak Internet connection, constant disconnections. For 3 points about 40 people. Ping to the hotspot itself can exceed 500ms. The points are separated into 1st, 6th and 11th channels. But I suspect that the problem is that the broadcast is very busy. More than 30 points in the district and, accordingly, all possible channels on 2.4 are busy. How to get out of this situation and on which channels is it better to place these 3 points? Now there is a 20 MHz band, because. when Auto is selected, you cannot manually set the channel. With a hard choice of 40, it’s not a fact that it will be better.
What can you advise in this case? Which of the parameters of the points should be experimented with in order to achieve a more or less result?
PS: ping to a point can reach 500ms even at 2 meters from it, i.e. not even behind a wall. That is why I have an assumption that this is precisely the congestion of the channel

What is the model of these points? Who is the manufacturer, on what chips are they made? What are the antennas? What range is required? How exactly is the range loaded - is it hardly evenly loaded on all channels? I have three points at home, there are about 30 points in the district and there are, everything works fine on 2.4 most of the time. What is ACK timing set to? Is RTS/CTS enabled?

Fully agree with the previous answerers - data is not enough.
You should start in such a situation with radio intelligence, at least a free ekahau heatmapper. He will give an idea of the existing coverage and its quality in relation to the floor plan. I also recommend studying the characteristics of existing access points, especially pay attention to the antenna diagram - this will give you an understanding of their most correct location on the ground. Well, if the points are from the SOHO segment, then 3 pcs. for 40 clients it is very little.
