How to amplify the wi-fi signal?

Hello.
The enterprise has a wi-fi network X, and the territory of the enterprise is quite large. Accordingly, there is a dead zone in which the network is not caught by client devices (about 30% of the total area). There were attempts to use routers as a repeater, but they were unsuccessful, since it was impossible to trace the users connected to the repeater (all repeater users were shown as one). As far as I know, the repeater is also not very good for network throughput.
Are there any ways to boost the wi-fi signal without using repeater mode? Using a cable is not considered an option. It is also necessary that the network be unified (seamless roaming).
Thank you!

Each router has a "COUNTRY" item. It's not for beauty. It sets the power depending on the legislation of the country. Accordingly, by selecting the country in which more is allowed, you can increase the signal strength. If I'm not mistaken, they put "BOLIVIA".
You can also flash it in OpenWRT and get the same thing, but directly in the WEB interface, namely increase Tx Power 100 mW to 1000 mW.
In addition, with OpenWRT firmware, you can access the "fine" Wi-Fi settings.

Amplifying the signal is not an option. Even if the client hears the point because of the high amplification, the point will not hear the client, because you have not raised the power from him. In addition, due to a strong signal, the point begins to hear clients worse, even if they are not far away, the transmission speed will drop.
Therefore, pull the cable into the "dead zone" and put a second access point there, it will be more correct.
