Where to start learning electronics?

Good afternoon!
I was interested in instrumentation, I want to learn how to program different controllers, such as raspberry pi and so on, for the future construction of a smart home. Where to start, what to study, what books, maybe some resources? Desirable information for complete dummies.

specifically for raspberries, it is better to study debian and linux.
for controllers, I advise you to search for information on the keywords "sematic". It is also possible that something else, such as "Beckhoff". They have online documentation and you can limulate directly on your home machine with com and lpt ports.
If all the same we are talking about MICROcontrollers, then the simplest thing is to start with arduino, then understand how you can program and debug them using AVRStudio, for example.
If this is clear, then you can move on to the next step: type stm32.

The university approach suggests a chain of TOE - Analog electronics - Digital circuits - Microcontrollers, but it's long and tedious in places :)

Another option is smartliving.ru - only here it is rather a "top-down" approach, i.e. the architecture of the Smart House as a whole and the user interface are primary, and the hardware is already secondary.
