I work in a company. I do manual functional testing. I don’t see any prospects for development at work, and I’m already tired of the project. In my city, there are very few other places where I could apply my experience and skills - one, two, and counted.
I want to go into remote testing or freelance in order to be able to work with various projects. But there is an idea - to advertise your services and receive orders through your website and social networks, in the future to expand the team. Who has a similar experience of finding orders? It is interesting to hear the opinion of knowledgeable people.

1) Usually orders are very boring, for example, "Here is a site, check it completely for everything", write about errors, accept edits, double-check. The pay is low, the tasks are boring. Since without the NDA, they will let you in to the infrastructure of the project.
2) It is much more interesting in this case to get a remote job. If you are not stupid, and master the basic Java / Seleniun / thycydides, then it is quite possible to find projects in the Russian Federation for 60-80, where you will test with pens, participate in the development of the project and saw automation in your free time.
3) If you are not stupid at all and you can also master English, then you can get 1200-2000 dollars. But already how IP work.

a) preparation of a test plan and general management of this process
b) automation - autotests, selenium, acceptance testing, etc. etc.

I support previous speakers. Automated remote testing is the best, as it is measurable and many people are interested in it. I was looking for freelance people who would cover my functionality with Selenium tests - I did not find it. So there is a niche.
