Where to change PTR record (CentOS, Postfix)?

Hi all!
Unfortunately, I did not find a clear article about PTR (reverse DNS record)
There is a server with a dedicated static IP address, pr Hetzner de. with CentOS 6.7, Postfix, a couple of sites.
Letters to the recipient that have the PTR check function enabled do not go through.
I correctly understood that I need to write to Hetzner's TP so that they prescribe PTR for me?
Or can I still configure it myself?

The PTR record is entered and managed by the ISP/master of the address range on its DNS server.
In your case, Hetzner does it.

It is forbidden. A long time ago, when providers were lazy and issued white IPs in /24 blocks, it was possible and I did it. But since then, the number of IPs has noticeably decreased, and for a long time the PTR records have been ruled by the one who owns the block of addresses - the hoster, the provider. The provider usually does not bruise if you explain to him why you need it, though you don’t need to hit the girl, but the second support line.

+1 you can change the ptr only in the dns zone
, the ptr itself can only be changed at the provider, in particular, as written above, some vds vps, etc. have manual control of this entry, but this is very rare.
YES, and 1 ip should be allocated because ptr does not support multiple sites on 1 ip.
